Motivation
This job fits me well for a couple of reasons. The first one would be that it is abroad, one of my goals is to leave Belgium as soon as I have my bachelor’s degree, so the fact that it is in Costa Rica is a must. Another reason this job really appeals to me is that you need to speak both English and Spanish which I do. The last reason would be that it would be a great experience and full of opportunities. It might not seem as something big, but I think as a just graduated student that this job would help a lot with my point of view on the ‘working world’ and everything that comes with that.
Link IBM
I think this fits the IBM learning outcomes, first of all because it is an international job, something different from Belgium, and we learned how to deal with cultural differences and how to handle these. There is no need for experience is this job but you do need a bachelor degree in international business, this refers to the level of comfort you have with logistics, economics and other topics. In the class of TMD we learned how to be good managers, we got some good tips and tricks from some managers who are already working in the field. So I feel this would be a big advantage to know how to handle situations as a future manager.
